Tanzania Origins 100 was almost an accidental discovery.
We were experimenting with Tanzanian cocoa, expecting the usual intensity people associate with 100% chocolate. No sugar to soften it. No milk to round it out. Nothing to hide behind.
But this cocoa surprised us.
Even at 100%, it remained smooth, rounded and remarkably free from bitterness. It had depth, but not harshness. Strength, but not aggression. The kind of chocolate that makes you pause and rethink what pure cocoa can actually taste like.
Made with Tanzanian cocoa grown by a family-owned farm, this bar reflects a more thoughtful approach to chocolate: supporting farmers, adding value closer to origin, and celebrating cocoa grown in Tanzania’s fertile regions of Kyela and Busokelo.
For us, that matters.
Too often, cocoa leaves the countries where it is grown as a raw ingredient, with most of the value added somewhere else. Tanzania Origins 100 is our small way of celebrating the bean itself, the farmers behind it and the potential of African cocoa to stand proudly on its own.

Just real cocoa, grown by real farmers, crafted into chocolate in small batches here in the UK.
